These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Gatehive's identity and access management platform. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using the Service

You must be authorized to act on behalf of your organization to create an account. You're responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by users you invite.

2. Your Account

Keep your login credentials secure

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
- Attempt to bypass or disable security features
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Exceed reasonable usage limits in a way that degrades the Service for others

4. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We process it only to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription & Billing

Fees are billed according to the plan you select

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
No refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law

6. Service Availability

We target 99.99% uptime, as detailed in our Status Page and any applicable SLA. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Upon termination, you can export your data within 30 days before it's deleted

8. Intellectual Property

Gatehive retains all rights to the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These Terms don't grant you any ownership rights beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, though we work continuously to keep it reliable and secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gatehive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We'll notify account admins by email before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
